per capita in the United States while Pierce County holds this same position within
Washington State.  No other agency in the state provides the unique and critical
services that we provide to Pierce, South King, Kitsap ,Jefferson & Thurston counties.

...101 vouchers for diagnostic mammograms & ultrasound to un- or under-insured
    and low-income women age 34 years and younger

...280 referrals to Breast, Cervical & Colon Health Program for women age 35-64
    to receive early detection services;

...189 wigs and 501 head coverings to 399 clients experiencing hair loss due to
    chemotherapy, radiation, and other medical procedures or conditions;

...160 breast prostheses and 159 bras to women who underwent mastectomies;

...customized exercise and relaxation classes along with a facilitated support
    group to 356 women who attended a total of 927 times;

...974 Patient Support Kits to 60 breast surgeons' offices in five counties where
    they were given to newly diagnosed women providing them with valuable local
    resource information and comfort items
